Verizon plans to provide its veteran customers with limitless access to the Department of Veterans Affairs’ telehealth app, which allows veterans to interact with VA healthcare providers via live video streaming.

The company said Thursday it will grant veterans free, nationwide access to the VA Video Connect app within the Verizon LTE network as part of Verizon’s partnership with the VA.

“Regardless of whether they live in city centers or rural areas, Veterans should be able to access the VA’s telehealth resources,” said Mike Maiorana, senior vice president for public sector at Verizon.
