Snowflake has partnered with Microsoft to market a secure cloud-based database platform, which will enable users to collect and analyze big data, through Azure Government.
Snowflake said Monday its software-as-a-service data warehouse is developed to help Azure Government customers manage datasets via a single native system.
The service will also allow clients to access, update, examine and delete data through the use of automatic metadata processing functions.
"With Snowflake on Azure Government, government agencies get the performance, scalability and simplicity of the most powerful cloud-built data warehouse while simultaneously meeting strict government security and compliance requirements," said Ro Dhanda, regional vice president of federal business at Snowflake.
Snowflake has collaborated with data integration, management and business intelligence firms to offer security, compliance, rapid data analytics and database modernization services to government, healthcare and commercial clients.
