Smartsheet has attained government competency status in the Amazon Web Services partner network for helping federal customers address security requirements via the AWS platform.

Bellevue, Wash.-based Smartsheet said Thursday its cloud-based technology offering works to simplify process management, strategic planning and asset tracking functions.

AWS established its Competency Program to guide customers in determining APN members with higher levels of expertise.

“Our team is dedicated to helping government agencies digitally transform and collaborate more fully across departments and agencies," said Gene Farrell, chief product officer of Smartsheet.

The company noted it holds "In Process" status under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
