Russell Cobb, a 16-year veteran of analytics software developer SAS Institute, has been named chief marketing officer of IronNet Cybersecurity.
He will aim to accelerate the adoption of IronNet's products and services across the government, enterprise and industrial sectors in his new position, the company said Tuesday.Â
Before he joined SAS in 2002, Cobb worked as a senior manager of global management consulting firm Markon Associates for seven years and a senior consultant at Accenture for four years.
He earned his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University and master's degree from Northwestern University.
