Progeny Systems has received a potential five-year, $50M contract to provide systems engineering services to the U.S. Navy.
The base terms of the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract are one year and $7.4M, but if all options are exercised, work will be extended to five years and $50M, the Department of Defense said Friday.
At the time of the award, the Navy will obligate $3.58M in procurement and development funds. Work will take place in Virginia and Rhode Island.
Naval Sea Systems Command at Washington Navy Yard is the contracting activity.
