OmniSci and Disaster Intelligence have partnered to apply data technologies such as geospatial analysis and graphics processing unit-based analytics for disaster management efforts.

Its source code and data libraries, OmniSci said Thursday, will help disaster management agencies plan efforts such as evacuations, logistics and forecasting. Disaster Intelligence will license OmniSci’s technologies to shorten the development timeline.

Disaster Intelligence will use OmniSci’s technology to model complex disaster risks in real-time settings and provide situational awareness for disaster management efforts.

“Our common goal is to give government agencies at all levels the critical information they need to make timely, effective decisions,” said Todd Mostak, CEO at OmniSci.
