CAE has received a contract to provide classroom and simulator training for U.S. Navy pilots and flight officers to operate the C-12 Huron multimission aircraft, which is used for logistics, medical and humanitarian purposes.
The company will use its Dothan Training Center in Alabama and training centers in Dallas and Morristown in New Jersey to provide the training, CAE said Wednesday.
Ray Duquette, president and general manager of CAE’s U.S. business, said the contract adds the Navy to its Army and Air Force customers, who also use the Dothan center to train personnel for C-12 operations.
Under the contract, the Alabama facility will host training for UC-12 aircrews on the King Air 200 Pro Line 21 cockpit.
CAE’s Dallas training center will manage training courses with the non-Pro Line King Air 200, while the New Jersey facility will host UC-12 training for aircrews on the King Air 350 Pro Line 21 and Fusion cockpits.
