Mercury Systems is offering a complete range of flight safety certifications levels in one device to address customer needs in mission computing architecture for avionics systems.

The company said Thursday its customers may now select from a range of design assurance levels for the ROCK-2 mission computing architecture based on certification and safety requirements.

ROCK-2 works to address the avionics needs of defense and commercial aircraft and ground stations. The architecture uses BuiltSAFE technology to support the flight safety of aerospace and defense operations.

In addition, ROCK-2’s reusable DAL artifacts are designed to streamline the safety certification processes required for hardware and software.
