The Center for Plain Language has selected Maximus’ public health communication initiative for the 2019 ClearMark Awards to recognize the latter’s Spanish-language operation of the Virginia Medicaid Managed Care health insurance portal.
Maximus said Monday its Center for Health Literacy deploys the Medallion 4.0 enrollment website which is based on the company’s Digital Solutions platform and enables self-service functions for 760K Medicaid and Family Access to Medical Insurance Security members.
Ilene Baylinson, general manager of U.S. health and human services at Maximus, said the recognition marks the company's second consecutive Grand ClearMark Award from the nonprofit organization and represents its “commitment to improving the citizen journey through digital transformation.â€
The Center for Health Literacy won three Awards of Distinction as well as two category awards for this year’s competition.
Established in 2003, the Center for Plain Language was to help the government and private sectors implement simplified and clear communications with the general public.
