Leidos has received recognition from DiversityInc for demonstrating a commitment to promote talent acquisition, accountability and diversity in the workplace.
The company said Tuesday it ranked 35th on the publication's 2019 Noteworthy list, which features businsses that have demonstrated excellence in employing minorities, women, people with disabilities, veterans and members of the LGBTQ community.
The annual ranking is based on a survey that assesses senior leadership accountability, philanthropy, supplier diversity, workforce practices and management.
DiversityInc also named Leidos as a top employer for veterans for working to help former service members pursue industry careers. Military veterans account for 22 percent of the firm's workforce.
