Satish Dhanasekaran, president of Keysight Technologies’ communications solutions group, has been named a member of the Federal Communications Commission’s Technological Advisory Council.
He will serve for two years at the council that provides FCC with expert input across a variety of technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence and broadband networks, Keysight said Wednesday.
Dhanasekaran, who also serves as a senior vice president at Keysight, oversees a business worth $2.4B with offerings across communications technology areas including wireless, wireline and aerospace.
Before joining Keysight, he designed mobile devices as an engineer at Motorola.
“I am looking forward to working with such a distinguished group of members to advise the FCC on the advancement of telecommunications technologies,†said Dhanasekaran.
