Jaime O’Keefe Orlando, former senior director of strategic communications at Peraton, has been appointed senior director of communications within the technical solutions division at Huntington Ingalls Industries.
She will work with the division’s leadership team to create integrated communication, engagement and marketing strategies in her new position, the company said Monday.
“Jaime’s wealth of experience in strategic communications, brand management and employee communications will be invaluable to our team as we continue to chart our course in the government services sector,” said HII Technical Solutions President Andy Green.
Before Peraton, Orlando served as senior manager of government information technology services at Harris and director of marketing and communications within the critical networks segment.
She previously worked for ManTech International, Ogilvy and Mather Worldwide and GAP Solutions.
Orlando holds a bachelor’s degrees in economics and consumer studies from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in marketing from Johns Hopkins University.
