Immuta has partnered with government consultancy LMI to develop a new data analytics platform intended to assist the Department of Defense with decision making process for weapons system maintenance and readiness.
The software company said Wednesday the Immuta Automated Data Governance Platform was mainly built for the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
It works with the Maintenance and Availability Data Warehouse, which stores data on military weapons systems and equipment along with over one billion maintenance records.
Designed and being managed by LMI, it provides security and control of access to data and accelerates analysis of information for predictive insights.
“Partnering with Immuta has enabled data scientists to leverage government data in compliance with appropriate governance regulations and privacy safeguards more quickly,†said Joseph Norton, director of data visualization and product development at LMI.
The analytics platform updates automatically to apply new regulations on data before providing access.
