General Dynamics’ mission systems business has received a five-year, $44M contract to deliver a variety of shelter types to the U.S. Army.
The company will provide Army standard family shelters and one-side expandable, two-side expandable and modified extended rigid wall shelters to the service branch, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Performance locations and funds per order will be assigned by the Army as the firm works to complete deliveries by June 21, 2024.
The U.S. Army Contracting Command launched a competition for the contract and received three proposals.
General Dynamics offers Army standard family shelters that comply with the International Organization for Standardization. The company builds its shelters from aluminum-faced, nonmetallic panels.
