Garrett Miller Named Verra Mobility EVP for Government Solutions

Garrett Miller, former chief digital officer of energy management system vendor Current, has been appointed executive vice president of government solutions at transportation technology provider Verra Mobility. 

He will lead efforts to develop smart cities technology offerings for U.S. municipalities and school districts in his new position, Verra Mobility said Tuesday.

Miller worked at Current for three years before New York-based investment firm American Industrial Partners acquired the business from General Electric. In his previous capacity, he led the deployment of internet-of-things technology to assist cities and enterprises that were pursuing digital transformation initiatives.

He previously held a seven-year career at SAP, which included time as global vice president of product lifecycle management and project management lines of business and director of environment, energy and analytics.
