DLT Solutions has secured a position on a 10-year blanket purchase agreement with the Department of Defense to provide Autodesk software products to DoD and other government customers.

Technology can support agencies in computer-aided design, product data management, computer-aided engineering and manufacturing, building information modeling and 3D printing tasks, DLT said Thursday.

"As Autodesk's master government aggregator, DLT will leverage this new contract to ensure DoD agencies have streamlined access to the latest Autodesk software innovations in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software they need to support their national security mission," said Brian Strosser, president at DLT.

The agreement is part of DoD's Enterprise Software Initiative aimed at simplifying the procurement of enterprise information technology services across defense, homeland security and intelligence agencies.

DLT has offered Autodesk products to the government sector for over 25 years.
