Concurrent Technologies Corp. has been selected for Military Times' 2019 “Best for Vets: Employers” list for demonstrating a commitment to offer employment opportunities for former service members.

CTC said Thursday it was among the 19 government and nonprofit organizations to appear in the list and the recognition marks the ninth straight appearance of the research and development contractor.

“We have made it part of our culture to recruit and support those who have served in the military, not only because they deserve our commitment to consider them for meaningful employment, but because our company is made stronger by their unique leadership skills and technical expertise," said Ed Sheehan, president and CEO of CTC.

The nonprofit also garnered multiple awards from Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a government organization that works to foster cooperation between servicemen and civilian employers.
