The Washington Post has named Criterion Systems and ViON among the top 150 places to work in the Washington, D.C., area based on employee responses from an anonymous survey.
ViON, which employs 149 workers at its headquarters in Herndon, Va., landed the 39th spot in the midsize employer category, the company said Monday.
“Our employees continually drive innovation for government and commercial organizations, allowing us to fulfill our mission every day," ViON Chairman and CEO Tom Frana said.
Promod Sharma, CEO of Criterion Systems, noted in a separate announcement that the company's culture seeks to reflect an entrepreneurial spirit and technical skills.
Research company Energage polled employees from government contractors, nonprofit organizations, law firms, business establishments and schools. The survey measured various aspects of workplace culture such as connection, alignment and execution.
