Cohesity has been accepted as a public sector partner of Amazon Web Services to help government customers manage and secure data in hybrid cloud environments.
San Jose, Calif.-based Cohesity said Tuesday it aims to offer simplified options for agencies to purchase data management offerings that work with the AWS GovCloud platform.
“Bringing Cohesity’s unique data management capabilities to AWS GovCloud empowers government agencies to harness the benefits of hybrid cloud infrastructure through an efficient and easy-to-use platform that eliminates mass data fragmentation,†said Steve Grewal, chief technological officer of federal and eastern U.S. sectors at Cohesity.
The company offers its DataPlatform product through the GovCloud service in an effort to help customers manage data recovery, analytics, retention and backup functions with a single web-based tool.
DataPlatform is designed to also help users detect ransomware and secure Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud infrastructure.
