Cambridge International Systems has opened a business operations center in Charleston, S.C., to house its project management, finance and recruitment personnel.
The company said Tuesday while its logistics and engineering staff will remain at the Cambridge Engineering and Logistics Center at 3860 Faber Place Drive, also in South Carolina, their project managers and senior executives will operate from the new Business Operations Center at 2000 Daniel Island Drive.
“The opening of our second Charleston area office is an exciting step for Cambridge,†said Russell Thurston, executive vice president of the advanced technology and services division.
“It reflects our continued growth in the marketspace and our continued commitment to providing our NAVWAR, formerly SPAWAR, customers with outstanding C5ISR solutions.â€
Cambridge is headquartered in Arlington, Va., and maintains business centers, engineering offices and other facilities across the U.S., as well as global support branches in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Colombia, Djibouti, Germany and Mexico.
