Booz Allen Hamilton and Databricks have forged an alliance to help federal clients implement big data and analytics technology platforms on premises and in cloud computing or hybid environments.
Databricks said Tuesday it will integrate its products and Delta Lake open source tool with Booz Allen’s Open Data Platform to accelerate migration of customer data to the cloud and obtain insights in real time.
ODP uses open source software designed to support the data life cycle.
“The ability to gain new insights for data-driven decisions is no longer limited by legacy infrastructure or complex security and compliance requirements,†said Michael Hoff, senior vice president of business development and partners at Databricks.
According to Databricks, some agencies use integrated products to manage data from multiple streaming sources and to transfer on-premises information to a public cloud provider.
The data management firm recognized Booz Allen as its 2019 Industry Partner of the Year.
