Battelle has received a five-year, $36.46M contract to support the U.S. Air Force in research and development efforts for airfield protection, blast resiliency and protection.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is for professional and technical support for the airfield R&D projects as well as test and evaluation, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Three proposals were received for the contract, which will run through June 2024 at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla.
The Air Force will obligate $3.27M fiscal 2018 research and development funds at the time of award.
