Artificial intelligence inference processor provider Mythic has raised $30M in a new funding round led by Valor Equity Partners.

Future Ventures, Lam Research, Atreides and Micron Ventures joined existing investors Lockheed Martin’s venture arm, SoftBank Ventures Asia, Lux Capital, Threshold Ventures, DCVC (Data Collective) and AME Cloud Ventures in the Series B-1 funding round, Mythic said Wednesday.

Mythic’s intelligence processing units are designed to help developers facilitate the deployment of deep neural networks and other AI platforms in data centers and edge devices.

Mythic launched in March 2018 its first Series B financing, raising $40M for its compute-in-memory technology.

The company also announced the addition of three executives to its leadership team.

  • Ty Garibay, VP of engineering
