Verve Industrial Protection and the Department of Defense's Center for Manufacturing Cyber Security, MxD, have partnered to mature cybersecurity processes within the manufacturing supply chain.
The company said Tuesday it will assist MxD in efforts to create use cases, develop traing platforms and expand outreach programs meant to help small to medium manufacturers comply with the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement standards for protecting controlled unclassified information.
The center crafted a roadmap for manufacturing processes, launched pilot programs with multiple manufacturing companies and applied a test bed to further cybersecurity efforts.
"We are privileged to be leveraging our unique assets in our manufacturing floor, our public-private partnerships and our skills at advancing training and capabilities to help DOD advance the state of the art in manufacturing cyber security," said Amanda Quick, senior director and chief of staff at MxD.
