Citadel Defense has received a contract to provide the U.S. Air Force with an artificial intelligence-supported drone detection system.
The company said Thursday its Titan system is used by federal agencies and all military services for anti-drone operations.
"We are creating new and innovative solutions with deep learning, AI and software-controlled hardware," said Christopher Williams, CEO at Citadel Defense.
Matt England, the company's vice president of business development, said the Titan system works to clear the airspace of unmanned aircraft threats via autonomous technology.
Citadel said its anti-drone system will help the United States compete against its adversaries in defense innovation.
