Unisys to Deliver Device Mgmt, Digital Workplace Services Under $76M USAF Deal; Andrew Boyd Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 10, 2019 — Unisys (NYSE: UIS) will manage laptop and desktop computers as well as mobile devices and provide digital workplace services to the U.S. Air Force under a potential $76M contract, GovCon Wire reported May 1.

The company said April 30 the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service contract also includes other information technology support — including the delivery of a cloud-based IT service management platform, call management tool and security automation capability — at eight Air Force installations.

“This project will help the Air Force achieve its objectives of reducing cost, simplifying management and improving the end-user experience,” said Andrew Boyd, vice president of the defense and intelligence agencies group at Unisys Federal.
