Brad Brubaker, a more than 25-year veteran of software provider SAP, has been named chief legal officer and general counsel of robotic process automation company UiPath.
He will lead UIPath's legal functions and provide strategic advice on its efforts to drive the implementation of automated technology across the public and private sectors, UiPath said Monday.
Brubaker most recently served as senior vice president and general counsel of SAP’s global field legal practice and supervised more than 300 legal professionals in that capacity. He also held systems engineering roles at RCA Aerospace and General Electric.
Marie Myers, chief financial officer of UiPath, said Brubaker brings to the company his experience in addressing legal matters related to intellectual property, organizational transformation and transaction strategies.
Brubaker serves as chair of the City Year Philadelphia Site Board and supports the organization's education and reskilling efforts across the state.
