Perspecta intends to use data analytics, commercial off-the-shelf applications and other emerging technology to help the Department of Defense update its personnel security vetting system as part of a $75M other transaction agreement.
The company said Tuesday it will work to refine and simplify the National Background Investigation Service through the two-year OTA with the Defense Information Systems Agency and the Defense Security Service.

Curtis added the company will apply intellectual property, innovation and DevSecOps expertise to help modernize the DoD background investigations and adjudication platform.
Accenture Federal Services, CA Technologies, Torch Research, Pegasystems, Prime Technical Services and Next Tier Concepts will support Perspecta on the project.
