Mark Koltz, a two-decade veteran of Northrop Grumman, has been appointed chief operating officer at Rockville, Md.-based government consulting services provider DSFederal, FedHealthIT reported Wednesday.Â
He brings more than 35 years of information technology and management consulting experience to DSFederal and will oversee the company's program and contract delivery within the federal healthcare sector.
DSFederal enterprise IT, research, program management and process improvement, technical assistance and training support to government customers. Its clients include the Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, Food and Drug Administration, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Agriculture.Â
Koltz most recently served as vice president of health solutions at Tantus Technologies, where he managed daily operations, delivery and strategic growth for all health-related programs at HHS and NIH.
Prior to Tantus, he worked as manager of strategy and programs at Northrop and held management positions at RS Information Systems and Booz Allen Hamilton.Â
