Northrop Grumman has received a $66.2M contract modification to continue support services for the U.S. Navy’s Broad Area Maritime Surveillance-Demonstrator Program.
The Navy exercised an option under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to procure logistics, engineering and other services, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.Â
Work will run through June 2020 in California, Maryland and other Navy forward operating locations.
The service will obligate the total contract amount from fiscal year 2019 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
In 2018, Northrop received an initial $61.7M contract to maintain, engineer and operate the Broad Area Maritime Surveillance-Demonstrator system.
