Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic plans to solicit multiple contractors to create engineering support services that will design and develop air traffic control, meteorology and oceanography systems, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command said Wednesday in a FedBizOpps notice.
These new systems will also assist aviation command, control, communications, computer, combat system, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations.
NIWC Atlantic noted it will launch a competitive solicitation process for a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract encompassing non-emergent or routine engineering tasks and a single-award IDIQ covering emergent engineering services.
Interested firms may attend the Pre-Solicitation Conference on June 4 to be the first potential contractors to learn the submission requirements. They may also submit questions regarding the upcoming solicitation through Sept. 5.
