ManTech and the Academies of Loudoun have recruited 20 students for a paid summer internship program that will offer them hands-on lessons in system forensincs and engineering.
The Dominion Forensic Engineering and Development program will run eight weeks and intended for incoming senior high school students or college freshmen, the company said Tuesday.
DFEND interns will have access to the Skillsoft Corporate Learning Library and the opportunity to participate every summer period during their collegiate years. Additionally, they are eligible to receive tuition assistance while pursuing science, technology, engineering and math degrees.
“Everything we do here at ManTech deals directly with the defense and protection of our nation, of our warfighters, and of our partners,” said Damian DiPippa, senior vice president and general manager of ManTech’s mission and intelligence solutions business.
