LMI has been selected to Military Times’ annual "Best for Vets: Employers" list, which recognizes organizations, agencies and companies that offer support and benefits to veteran employees and their families.
LMI said Thursday it has been included in the list for 10 consecutive years and that the company offers training programs and other resources for military and veteran recruitment.
Military Times evaluated around 200 organizations and conducted surveys on their policies, recruitment operations and workplace culture to assess their support for employees with a military background as well as their families.
LMI previously noted in its 2018 report that the number of reservists, veterans and National Guard members in its staff has increased from 29 to 34 percent.
“As we continue our rapid growth, we are constantly implementing innovative and proactive improvements to our culture and benefits for all employees, including military veterans,†said David Zolet, president and CEO of LMI and a 2019 Wash100 winner.
Military Times has been evaluating organizations for inclusion in the top veteran employers list since 2010.
