A Kratos Defense & Security Solutions division received a potential $4.9M U.S. Army contract to develop a system for military personnel to assess anti-drone, high-power microwave technology and electronic jamming activity.
Kratos said Wednesday its defense and rocket support services team will produce and test the Tethered High-power-microwave Recorder and Electronic Attack Target platform to facilitate processing of HPM capabilities and monitoring of data from environmental emissions to counter small unmanned aircraft systems.
The contract, which has a $2.2M base value and includes options, will support the Army program executive officer for simulation, training and instrumentation as well as the Department of Defense Test Resource Management Center.
