Jacobs Engineering has received a 15-month, $27M bridge contract to continue helping the U.S. Army test biological and chemical substances at Dugway Proving Ground in Utah.
The company said Wednesday it has been providing support services at the facility's West Desert Test Center for 15 years.
Services under current and previous contracts for the center include field range testing, technology evaluation and laboratory testing. The center features technology platforms designed to detect, disseminate and decontaminate chemical and biological samples.
The company will also help the service branch train first responders and warfighters to address chemical and biological incidents.
