The General Services Administration and the Department of Housing and Urban Development are seeking information from the industry on how to enhance their cloud adoption, contact center, customer experience, and data analytics functions.
GSA said Monday six requests for information have been posted on its GitHub archive to collect feedback for these aims from tech vendors. These goals for improvement are part of the second phase of HUD’s information technology modernization program.
Each RFI aims to enhance the GSA and HUD’s approach to the HUD Phase II program, which will assist centers for excellence in moving into their IT implementation phase.
“We want to ensure we incorporate private sector best practices in IT along with standard industry practices in procuring technology,†said Bob De Luca, executive director of GSA CoE program.
He added HUD Phase II would help agency partners keep up with advances in technology to support modernization efforts.
Interested parties can submit responses to the RFIs through May 31.
