Giant Oak has secured a position on a Federal Library and Information Network contracting vehicle to offer an information platform designed to support government screening and vetting processes.
The company said Wednesday its GOST software-as-a-service platform uses artificial intelligence and machine learning methods to search and retrieve publicly available information.
Aside from FEDLINK IDIQ, the offering is also available to the public sector via the General Services Administration's IT Schedule 70 and the Department of Homeland Security's Open Source/Social Media Data Analytics contract.
GOST was created through research-and-development efforts supported by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
According to Giant Oak, its technology has helped public safety and national security personnel in countering criminal and fraudulent activities.
The FEDLINK consortium offers purchasing, training and resource-sharing services to personnel working at federal libraries and information centers.
