Jacobs announced on Thursday that Georgette Kiser and Barbara Loughran have been elected to the company’s Board of Directors. Loughran will serve on the Audit Committee of the Board and Kiser has been appointed to the Human Resource & Compensation Committee.

Recently, Kiser was appointed the operating executive for The Carlyle Group after serving as the CIO of the company since Jan. 2015. Prior to her tenure with The Carlyle Group, Kiser served in a range of senior leadership roles with T. Rowe Price for 19 years.
In addition, Kiser also serves on the Boards of Aflac and Adtalem Global Education, and has served on various non-profit boards, including the T. Rowe Price Foundation Board, the Maryland Business Roundtable STEMnet Advisory Board, The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland, and the University of Baltimore Foundation.
Kiser graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Maryland College Park in 1989. She also earned a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Villanova in 1992 and a Master of Business Administration in General Finance in 2004.
Loughran brings more than 30 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies as they navigated strategic, transformational and operational issues. She served PwC in a range of senior leadership positions during her near 34 year tenure with the company. She eventually retired as a partner in Jul 2018.
In addition, Loughran has lived and worked globally, in addition to leading teams in Europe, Asia, South America, Russia, Turkey and South Africa. Her broad industry experience includes professional services, pharmaceuticals, technology and consumer products.
Loughran graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and earned a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Wharton School of Business in 1992.
Jacobs' Board is comprised of 11 members from diverse geographic, industry, technical and business backgrounds, providing a robust governance structure that aligns with the company's strong emphasis on inclusion; 45% of Jacobs' board is female or ethnically diverse.
