Geocent has secured a potential three-year, $73.4M contract from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to develop software for the agency's cloud-based data centers.
The company said Wednesday it will help USCIS update large-scale case management and fraud detection platforms and incorporate new tools into existing and new systems as part of the Risk and Fraud DevSecOps Services contract.
DevSecOps professionals will work to develop, operate, maintain, secure and test a defined set of platforms for the agency.
Contract work will primarily take place in McLean, Va., and Washington, D.C., while the implementation phase will occur at multiple Geocent offices throughout the country.
Seven teams are slated to perform work in the first year of the contract, which includes an option for the company to deploy up to 10 teams over the two-year execution phase.
