Fairfax Software Obtains SOC 2 Type 2 Certification

Fairfax Software has completed an assessment of system and organization controls by a third-party auditing firm 360 Advanced.

Completion of the SOC 2 Type 2 audit demonstrates Fairfax Software's commitment to manage security posture, protect client data and comply with trust services criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the company said Monday.

“In our business, we typically are marketing to government clients who usually require bidders to have certain assessment frameworks, such as the SOC 2 report,” said Michael Minter, vice president of sales and marketing at Fairfax Software.

The Tampa, Fla.-based company offers document workflow management, imaging, payment processing and character recognition platforms.
