Enlighten IT Consulting, a subsidiary of MacAulay-Brown, has started to offer cyber training on a big data platform that was originally developed to help secure Department of Defense networks.Â
MacB parent company Alion Science and Technology said Wednesday public and private sector trainees are given an opportunity to join real-world cyber exercises at Enlighten IT's Linthicum Heights, Md., facility or a requested customer location.
“System administrators, developers, analysts and other experts will gain insight into many aspects of BDP deployment and optimization including cyber hunting, analytic development, data science tools and other platform technologies," said Duane Shugars, senior vice president and general manager of Enlighten IT Consulting.
Two new course offerings are also available to system administrators and developers for 2019. Both courses are designed to help participants learn how to manage the BDP environment and implement analytics.
Enlighten IT trained nearly 400 cyber and intelligence analysts last year on defensive cyber operations using the platform.
