DLT Solutions and Mesosphere have partnered to offer open-source technology designed to help government clients build information technology applications with cloud architecture.
Mesosphere designed its platform to support the development of customer apps that can work with on-premise and cloud or hybrid infrastructure, DLT said Tuesday.
The partnership aims to help federal departments implement enterprise standards across systems with the offering.
"Our government customers work across distributed architectures and they need to build applications that work both on their existing infrastructures and in newer, increasingly complex environments," said Chris Wilkinson, senior vice president of sales at DLT.
Mesosphere's Apache Mesos is an open-source distributed systems kernel that works to simplify data center computing functions.
