DISA Seeks Info on Quantum-Resistance Cryptography - top government contractors - best government contracting event

The Defense Information Systems Agency is in need of industry-based information regarding the use of quantum-safe algorithms for cybersecurity.

DISA said Monday in a FedBizOpps notice that it intends to evaluate the use of these algorithms and cryptographic approaches to protect the Department of Defense's information technology infrastructure.

The agency is looking to pursue research and development of applications that would transmit quantum-encrypted information.

Interested firms may ask topic-related questions to DISA through May 17 and submit white papers through May 31.
