Artificial intelligence-based cyber software developer DarkLight has added startup executive Lynda Gaughan and former Microsoft executives Jason Upton and David Aucsmith to its leadership team.
Gaughan will serve as chief financial officer at DarkLight, the company said Thursday.
She brings to the role years of experience in investor relations, financial forecasting, fundraising, compliance and best practice process implementation.
Upton, a more than 20-year Microsoft veteran, has been named chief product officer at DarkLight. He has years of leadership experience in digital transformation, engineering systems and management, software as a service and Agile processes.
Aucsmith, who has held senior security positions at Microsoft and Intel, will serve as chief scientist. He is a former U.S. Navy officer and has published works related to cyber warfare, espionage and other cyber crimes.
Shawn Riley, chief data officer and chief information security officer at DarkLight, will transition to the role of chief visionary officer responsible for the company’s strategic planning efforts.
