TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 14, 2019 — A subsidiary of Chenega Corp. will provide armed security services at facilities of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta and Fort Collins in Colorado under a potential $89.2M contract, GovCon Wire reported May 3.
The Department of Health and Human Services said in a FedBizOpps notice posted May 1 that Chenega Global Protection will operate equipment such as X-ray and metal detectors, issue visitor badges as well as monitor and respond to alarm systems at facilities that CDC owns or leases in those two areas.
“Chenega is proud to be awarded this important project and continue its service to the employees and visitors of the CDC,” Timothy Lamb, president of Chenega’s security strategic business unit, told ExecutiveBiz.
