Tennessee-based agencies can now procure CenturyLink‘s cloud computing services through a cooperative purchasing program managed by the National Association of State Procurement Officials.
CenturyLink said Thursday it will offer platform-as-a-service, infrastructure-as-a-service and software-as-a-service platforms under the ValuePoint Cloud Solutions Master Agreement to government customers address information technology requirements.
State and local agencies can also avail the firm’s managed service offerings to manage citizen services.
“With government agencies increasingly hosting highly sensitive information in the cloud today, maintaining a secure and reliable environment is more critical than ever,†said Gray Sigler, director of state, local government and education at CenturyLink.
