TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 31, 2019 — Josh Sullivan, senior vice president of analytics at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), said government agencies should review their goals and capacity as well as engage personnel as they move to utilize artificial intelligence technology, GovCon Wire reported May 21.

Sullivan wrote that agencies need to look into their existing talent, infrastructure, policies, culture and mission objectives to have a “realistic understanding” of their readiness for AI and the areas where they can focus on to advance toward final operating capabilities.

He also believes the government should encourage collaboration and provide the tools and resources to drive employees to buy into AI adoption and pursue “transformative” ideas on the technology.
