Battelle has landed a five-year, $50M task order to maintain, repair and preserve tactical vehicles and ground support equipment as part of a U.S. Marine Corps initiative.
The company said Tuesday it will also provide technical advice and programmatic support efforts as part of the Corrosion Prevention and Control program.
In addition, the team will manage subcontractor teams that are assigned to conduct repairs and evaluation services at Marine Corps facilities worldwide.
According to Battelle, the firm developed systems and assessed repair procedures and corrosion prevention materials to validate future investments and reinforce preservation of equipment.
“Battelle’s holistic approach to CPAC ensures routine mission requirements are met and allows our client to focus on addressing the longer-term program requirements,†said Vinay Gadkari, a program manager at Battelle's national security business.
