Spire Global will provide BAE Systems with automatic identification systems data that the latter firm would use for geospatial applications.
BAE will integrate the data into the Geospatial eXploitation Products, a software line designed to help users discover, exploit and disseminate digital geospatial intelligence, Spire said Wednesday.
“This new relationship creates a set of previously unavailable tools that can now be used as a unique daily resource," said  Keith Johnson, vice president and general manager ar Spire Federal.
The partnership adds to Spire's many collaborative projects in 2019, including those with NASA and Europe's space agency.
