Cloud communications provider Collab9 will offer Avaya’s cloud and communications services to local, state and federal government agencies as part of the firms’ ongoing partnership.
Collab9 is an authorized partner of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, which means that the cloud services it offers meet the government’s rigorous standards. Avaya said Tuesday it will utilize Collab9’s FedRAMP-certified infrastructure to distribute Avaya’s Unified Communications and Collaboration services and the OneCloud Contact Center platform to public sector clients.
According to Avaya, the partnership will potentially allow the company to offer Impact Level 4 and 5 software-as-a-service products to Department of Defense customers.
“Accelerating our relationship with Collab9 to more fully leverage their FedRAMP and other compliance and certification capabilities will enable our solutions to be more widely available and adopted in the government market, and broadens the FedRAMP-authorized Avaya portfolio enabling us to migrate customers to the cloud faster,†said Jerry Dotson, vice president of government solutions at Avaya.
